If you are a logged in user make sure that the layer from which you want to get information has the Information() checkbox checked in the Layers settings.
Click on the Information() tool.
Click on the area of interest, Information list should appear on the screen with query results.
If the query returned only 1 item it will directly be displayed on the screen. To see the item on the map click Show results on map button.
