Menu

Introduction

This section will help you manage the menu located in the user header.

Add or edit menu

You can expand a tree branch by clicking + or -. Click on Expand to view full menu structure.

To add a node you need to right click on a menu node and click Add (this node will be the parent, right click on Root node to add the node to the top). To edit a node you need to right click on a menu node and click Edit.

Active. Set if the menu is visible or not

Type.

• Container type is used when you need to group other menu nodes. For example when your logged in, System is a container node that contains Change password, Settings, Administrator panel.
• Text type is used when you need a web page with static content. For example if you want an About us web page you create a new node with type Text and enter your content in the Text text area.
• Link type is used when you need your menu node to point to an external or internal url. For example I can select Type "Link" and URL "http://google.com". If you want a link to an internal page you can enter /default/settings (/moduleName/controllerName/actionName/actionValue).

Right click on a menu node and click Delete.
